Game Mechanics and Rules

Reel Structure: Two independent uniform reels display hexadecimal symbols. The symbols range from 0 to 9, and A to F (representing values 10 to 15).

Integer Calculation: The game reads the first reel value as the high digit and the second as the low digit. It calculates an integer n using the formula: n = 16 × first + second + 1. This results in an integer uniformly distributed between 1 and 256.

Statistic Calculation: The game counts the number of divisors d of n such that d > 1 and d can be written as b^k for integers b > 1 and k >= 2. These are perfect power divisors (e.g., 4, 8, 9, 16, 25, etc.).

Score Function: The reward score is calculated by subtracting the exact minimum statistic over all 256 outcomes from the raw statistic. In this specific contract, the exact subtracted minimum is 0. Therefore, the score equals the raw statistic.

Example: If the reels show [0, 0], the integer n is 1. The count of perfect power divisors greater than 1 is 0. The reward score is 0.

Modes and Weights

Before capturing the stake, the player selects one of three weight modes for the reward score:

• Linear (Mode 0): Weight = Score.
• Squared (Mode 1): Weight = Score².
• Cubed (Mode 2): Weight = Score³.

The gross multiplier is calculated as 0.96 × weight / exact_mean, where the exact mean is derived from the 256-outcome distribution for that specific mode.

Wallet and Persistence

Initial Balance: The demo starts with a balance of 1000 virtual coins.

Restoration: A manual restoration is available when idle and the balance is below 10. This action sets the balance to exactly 1000. It does not add coins or trigger automatic replenishment.

Fractional Carry: Fractional carry persists in browser localStorage across settlement, refill, and reload. Refilling the balance does not clear this carry.

Unfinished Reload: If the page is reloaded during an active round, the captured stake remains deducted. The round ends without refund, payout, or continuation. Controls default to a stake of 20 and the first preset upon reload.

Identity and Storage Facts

The whole-coin wallet balance, including zero, and separate fractional carry persist in localStorage across settlement, restoration and reload. Clearing cached files alone need not clear localStorage. Stake 20 and Linear settings reset; an interrupted round has no refund, payout or continuation.
